Responsible Gambling
Gambling should be an enjoyable form of entertainment — not a source of financial stress or personal harm. extrabonus is committed to providing every Malaysian player with the tools, information, and support needed to stay in control at all times.
Tools to Help You Stay in Control
Every registered extrabonus player has immediate access to the following responsible gambling tools — free of charge and available 24/7. You do not need to wait for a crisis to use them. Setting limits before you need them is a sign of smart, responsible play.
Deposit Limits
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on how much you can deposit into your extrabonus account. Once the limit is reached, no further deposits will be accepted until the period resets. Limit reductions take effect immediately; limit increases carry a 24-hour cooling period.
AVAILABLE IN ACCOUNT SETTINGSLoss Limits
Define the maximum net loss you are willing to accept within a specific time period — daily, weekly, or monthly. When your loss total hits the limit, betting and gaming will be paused for the remainder of that period. An effective safeguard against chasing losses.
TAKES EFFECT IMMEDIATELYSession Time Limits
Set a maximum session duration for your gambling activity. When your session time is up, you will receive an on-screen notification and, if you confirm, be automatically logged out. Prevents unintentional marathon sessions driven by in-the-moment decisions.
CONFIGURABLE PER SESSIONCooling-Off Period
Take a short break from gambling without fully closing your account. Cooling-off periods are available from 1 day up to 6 weeks. During this period, you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets. The period runs its full course — it cannot be shortened once activated.
1 DAY TO 6 WEEKSSelf-Exclusion
Permanently or long-term exclude yourself from extrabonus. Self-exclusion periods range from 6 months to permanent closure. Once activated, access is immediately blocked across all devices. Exclusion requests are processed within 24 hours and are not reversible for the stated duration.
6 MONTHS TO PERMANENTReality Check Alerts
Enable periodic in-session pop-ups that show you how long you have been playing, how much you have deposited and wagered in the current session, and your net result. A simple, non-intrusive nudge to help you stay aware of your activity.
CUSTOMISABLE INTERVALSChoosing to Step Away
Self-exclusion is one of the most powerful tools available for players who feel their gambling is becoming a problem. At extrabonus, we take self-exclusion requests seriously — they are processed as a priority, and access is blocked within 24 hours of activation.
During a self-exclusion period, you will not be able to log in, deposit, or receive promotional communications from extrabonus. If you attempt to create a new account during an active self-exclusion, we will close it immediately upon detection.
How to Request Self-Exclusion
You can activate self-exclusion at any time through the following steps. The process takes less than 5 minutes.
Warning Signs to Watch For
Problem gambling can develop gradually. Recognising the early warning signs in yourself or someone close to you is the first and most important step toward getting help. If any of the following apply to you, we encourage you to use our tools or seek support.
Chasing Losses Increasing bets or deposit amounts in an attempt to recover previous losses, rather than gambling within a pre-set budget.
Preoccupation with Gambling Spending a significant amount of time thinking about gambling, planning the next session, or reliving past wins and losses.
Gambling with Essential Money Using funds allocated for rent, utilities, food, or other living expenses to fund gambling activity.
Needing to Bet More for the Same Excitement Progressively increasing stake sizes to achieve the same level of excitement — a classic sign of behavioural tolerance.
Failed Attempts to Stop or Reduce Repeatedly trying and failing to cut back on or stop gambling activity despite a genuine desire to do so.
Concealment from Family or Friends Hiding the extent of gambling activity from family members, partners, or friends in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, or elsewhere.
Borrowing to Gamble Taking loans, borrowing from friends or family, or using credit facilities specifically to fund gambling sessions.
Gambling to Escape Problems Using gambling as a way to manage stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness, or other negative emotions rather than for entertainment.

Is Your Gambling Still in Control?
Honest self-reflection is one of the most effective tools available to any gambler. Consider the following questions. There are no right or wrong answers — only honest ones.
If you answer "yes" to three or more of these questions, we strongly encourage you to activate one of our responsible gambling tools or contact our support team for a confidential conversation.
Have you ever gambled with money that was set aside for something else — such as rent, utility bills, groceries, or your children's expenses?
Have you ever felt the need to increase your bet sizes or deposit amounts to achieve the same level of excitement you felt when you first started gambling?
Have you tried to stop or reduce your gambling and found it difficult or impossible to stick to that decision for more than a few days?
Have you hidden your gambling activity — including deposits, losses, or time spent gambling — from family members, a partner, or close friends?
Have you borrowed money, sold personal possessions, or used credit facilities specifically to fund your gambling, rather than for any other purpose?
Do you often find yourself thinking about gambling even when you are not actively playing — for example, at work, during meals, or before going to sleep?
Have you ever felt restless, irritable, or anxious when attempting to cut down on or stop gambling, or when unable to gamble due to other commitments?
Have you ever returned to gambling after a loss with the aim of winning back the money you lost, rather than treating the loss as a known cost of entertainment?

gamblersanonymous.orgProtecting Young People
The minimum age for gambling on extrabonus is 21 years. This is a firm, non-negotiable requirement. We enforce it at registration through age declaration, at KYC verification through document checks, and on an ongoing basis through transaction monitoring.
We are aware that in some Malaysian households, younger family members may have access to devices on which an adult account is registered. We strongly encourage account holders to use device-level parental controls and to log out of extrabonus on any shared device.
Device Parental Controls
Most Android and iOS devices support app-level restrictions. Consider enabling content filters or app time limits on any device that younger family members use. Contact your device manufacturer for setup guidance.
Network-Level Filtering
Malaysian internet service providers including Maxis, Celcom, and Unifi offer optional content filtering services. These can restrict access to gambling websites at the router or account level for shared household networks.
What extrabonus Commits To
Responsible gambling is not a regulatory checkbox at extrabonus. It is a core part of how we operate. These commitments are operational obligations — not aspirational language.
